Now I'm feeling some serious desert racing withdrawals. I miss the madness, the terror, and the sleep deprivation. I'd gladly give up an entire year of rally for another go at Vegas to Reno.

By "professionally" do you mean as in "as a career?" Because if so about 98% of current desert racers would probably make the same deal. The number of desert guys making their living from racing can be counted on your fingers, with almost a full hand left over.

Yup, I spent new Years at Primm. It's too bad Herbst doesn't own them anymore, I liked seeing the race truck on display in the casino. Made me feel like my money was being well spent.
